Ashlei Vargas focuses her practice on litigation and employment counseling, as well as general business litigation. In her employment practice, she advises clients in regards to employment discrimination, harassment, hiring and firing, employee discipline, and other employment policies and procedures.
Prior to joining NPW, Ashlei was an arbitrator, hearing disputes pertaining to breach of contract, poor workmanship, and property damage.
Ashlei is a certified mediator and volunteers with the Girls Scouts of America.
My practice is focused on employment litigation and counseling as well as general business litigation.
In addition to a favorable result and efficiency of counsel, clients care about being heard and understood. I think it is important to collaborate with my clients as much as possible in order to make sure those needs are being met.
Every matter is different and will have its own nuances. It is important to keep the lines of communication open with each client so that their unique circumstances are taken into consideration.
My background in alternative dispute resolution gives me a unique perspective on the benefits of reaching a mutual agreement without having to resort to litigation. A resolution crafted by the parties is not only cost-effective, but also results in a higher likelihood of compliance by the parties.
